On Saturday November 21 at Wright State University two students from Horizon Science Academy Dayton Downtown competed in the Rippl3D wind Turbine Challenge. Students had to design it, 3D print it and test it. The performance measurements which determine a winner are the design of the turbine that generates the most power (Voltage).
Feruza participated in the unlimited division and limited design division. We are proud to say she finished 1st in the 7th grade division for limited division and 14th overall out of 168 competitors with 65 volts generated.
